The Woodland Beach Cottages have been owned and operated by the Diener family since 1996.  Carl and Renee have been married for over twenty-five years and for the last nineteen have been the proud parents of quadruplets Katie, Nick, Robert and Rachel.  Carl is a retired teacher and coach and is the Assistant Director and coach for Area 31 Special Olympics.  Renee is a social worker who works at a local mental health agency, likes to read and helps out with the cottages.  Three of the quads (Katie, Nick and Rachel) are graduates from Tawas Area High School and are all in college; they also help with the cottages when their busy schedules allow. Robert is still in high school where he is an honor roll student. The six two bedroom cottages are just the right size for our family to maintain and for other families to enjoy.  Groups really like our place, too, because when they reserve all six cottages they can have the whole place to themselves and don’t have to worry about bothering people that they don’t know.  Our six cottages and our house occupy 200 feet of water front on Lake Huron, never getting a crowded feeling even when full.  So, whether you are a couple, a family, or a group, you will find Woodland Beach Cottages the perfect place for a great get away from home vacation.
